James's parents Guy and Linetha were our October visitors... After visiting the Aiguille du Midi, here we are heading back down towards Chamonix!

We had our first parental visit, my parents, which involved a lot of eating (and very well), a lot of drinking and a lot of games of chess and port.

Two out of my three best friends, Es and Lou, popped by for the week on their way to Italy.



Yesterday for the public holiday we went to Chamonix to see Mont Blanc via the Aiguille du Midi - it was truly spectacular at 3,800 Metres! I’m looking forward to skiing the Vallee Blanche early next year…

So far we have had a continuous stream of visitors since July, in particular Kylie & Lawrence, and Emma and Tom and my nephew Charlie.
